Wurlitzer CX Orchestrion with orchestra bells

Img83.png

This impressive instrument was once owned by collector Melvin Walker. It was later sold to Jasper Sanfilippo, who traded it towards the purchase of a new Ramey Banjo-Orchestra. David Ramey, Sr. had done some work on the components and added a set of orchestra bells (new action, original bells).  He upgraded the art glass with a unique set of Wurlitzer glass that had been separated from its original instrument and added a pair of lamps to the top. The orchestrion was proudly featured in Dave’s private collection. The instrument is in very good working condition and includes twelve five-tune (APP) rolls. $65,000.00

Wurlitzer Pianino - Late Style

img_0341.png

This little beauty was been enjoyed as part of the Ramey collection for many years. It was resurrected from an instrument that had received extensive fire and water damage. Dave Ramey had a new cabinet and soundboard built, as well as many of the wooden components. He restored what he had of original parts and installed them into their new home. This instrument is packed with music. It features a 44-note piano with mandolin attachment, 21 flute pipes, 21 violin pipes, 21-note xylophone, and a set of reiterating rib bones (an authentic set of beef rib bones gnawed on by Dave himself!). Very few Pianinos were made with two ranks of pipes and a xylophone. Plays a ten-tune roll, ten rolls included with sale. $25,000.00
